- Barbara Danzi is a contemporary quilter making large-scale colorful abstract quilts. She has won two awards at QuiltCon, Outstanding Abstract Design at Road to California, as well as Best in Show and other awards in quilt shows and art exhibits.
- She has studied extensively with Nancy Crow and her quilts have been exhibited on four continents.
- I've been a guest on Joe Cunningham (Joe the Quilter)'s Quilt Freedom Workshop and a guest artist on Maria Shell's Promptopia Workshop.

- I have judged the International Quilt and Fiber Festival for the Pacific Northwest Quilt Museum and served as juror for the 41st Annual New Legacies Contemporary Quilt exhibit.

- I'm also able to guide guilds who want to explore adding judging to their quilt show, and can advise on categories, and how to operate the judging room.
